Plain summary: PricePulse watches public pricing pages you choose and tells you when they change. The Free plan is free. Pro is $9 per month through PayPal and you can cancel yourself at any time. We can’t promise a page will always be readable, and we don’t accept liability for business decisions you make based on what it reports.
PricePulse is operated by Venkata Suresh Annapureddy, trading as Zentrix Technologies, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (“we”, “us”). “You” means the person or organisation using the extension.
01 What PricePulse is
PricePulse is a Chrome browser extension that fetches public web pages you nominate, detects prices on them, and notifies you when the specific prices you have confirmed change. It is an information tool. It does not give business, pricing, legal, or financial advice.
02 Plans and pricing
The Free plan tracks up to 3 pages with automatic checks every 6 hours, at no cost and with no account required.
The Pro plan costs US$9 per month, billed as a recurring PayPal subscription, and adds unlimited tracked pages, checks as frequently as every 15 minutes, JavaScript-rendered page support, and email and Slack alerts.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes, currency conversion charges, or bank fees your payment provider may apply. We may change plan pricing in future; existing subscribers will be told by email before a change affects them, and may cancel if they don’t wish to continue.
03 Your licence key
On subscribing you receive a licence key by email. It unlocks Pro on your own installations of the extension. Please don’t publish it, resell it, or share it outside your organisation. The extension re-checks the key against our server periodically; if a subscription has ended, the key stops working and the extension returns to the Free plan.
If a licence key is being used in a way that clearly abuses the service, we may revoke it. Where we do, we will tell you why and refund any unused portion of the current month.
04 Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your Pro subscription yourself at any time in your PayPal account. No notice and no email to us is required. Pro remains active until the end of the period you have paid for, then the extension switches back to the Free plan. Your tracked pages and confirmed prices stay on your device either way.
Refunds are covered separately in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
05 Acceptable use
PricePulse requests pages from your own browser, in the same way visiting them would. You are responsible for the pages you choose to track. You agree not to:
- Use PricePulse to access material you are not permitted to access, or to circumvent a login, paywall, or access control.
- Track pages in a way that breaches a site’s terms of use or applicable law.
- Use the service to place unreasonable load on any third-party website.
- Resell, sublicense, or repackage PricePulse or its output as your own product.
- Attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to our backend service.
06 What we do not promise
We want to be straightforward about the limits of what a price-monitoring tool can do.
Detection is not guaranteed
Websites change their structure without notice. A page that works today may become unreadable, may block automated requests, or may present prices in a format PricePulse cannot interpret. The extension surfaces an error when this happens rather than reporting silence as “no change”, but we cannot guarantee that every price change on every page will be detected, or detected promptly.
Accuracy is your responsibility to verify
Prices reported by PricePulse are read automatically from third-party pages we do not control. Before acting on a price — quoting, repricing, or making a commercial decision — verify it on the source page. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a detected price.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not offer a guaranteed uptime level. Maintenance, third-party outages, and provider failures can interrupt Pro features. The extension is designed so that a temporary backend outage does not revoke your Pro access.
07 Third-party services
PricePulse relies on PayPal for payments, Railway for hosting, Resend for email delivery, and — if you configure it — Slack for alerts. Their availability and their own terms are outside our control. How your data flows through them is described in our Privacy Policy.
08 Intellectual property
PricePulse, its code, name, and branding remain our property. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the extension while your plan is active. Nothing here transfers ownership of the software to you.
Content on the pages you track belongs to whoever published it. PricePulse simply reads it for your own reference.
09 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to PricePulse is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. For Free-plan users, that amount is zero.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost profits, lost business opportunity, or losses arising from a price change that was missed, delayed, or misreported.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
10 Suspension and termination
You may stop using PricePulse at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where continuing would put the service or other users at risk. If we end your access without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period.
11 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top will change, and material changes affecting existing subscribers will also be emailed to the address on the subscription. Continuing to use PricePulse after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country.
